I am a firm supporter of creative expression...in any form. I am a lover of music, and huge fan or graffiti and urban art. I love to see people using their creativity to make our world more beautiful, to point something out...to make us ask questions. I love to see people reusing things in the environment to create something new and useful instead of just contributing to landfills.
I am from Detroit, and I love this place. It is far from perfect. We have too much crime. We have too much industrial pollution. We have too many beautiful architectural structures falling apart or falling prey to arsonists. He have a city run mostly by corruption and kick-backs...but it's my city and in it you will find the human condition. Happiness and sadness, community and chaos, triumph and tragedy...but through it all, it is home, and a place worth our struggle. We are bringing the city back, like a Phoenix from the ashes. It may not be tomorrow or next month, but it is coming. Why? Because DETROIT HUSTLES HARDER.

Today I am just on the edge of peevish. It's a good mood for creating...at least it is for me. I have something in me just dying to get out, but I have not yet discovered my form of media. I think I will stop at Michael's on my lunch break and see if something inspires me.

Some days I find myself just DYING to shoot...like today. It's sunny outside and there are dark uninhabited corners of old abandoned buildings just waiting for me to come and explore...and I am stuck here at work.
It makes me angsty.
